PRECISION MANUFACTURING

Every process under one roof. Laser cut, formed, rolled, welded, and delivered.
One team owns the job from blank to finished part.

What We Do

Every fabrication process. One shop. No outsourcing.

Precision manufacturing at Taylor Metals covers the complete metal fabrication process — from laser cutting through forming, bending, rolling, and CWB W47.1 certified welding. All in-house, all under one roof. Our TRUMPF equipment, 3D CAD engineering capability, and Lean-based Taylor Production System means your parts are accurate, on-time, and cost-competitive.

TRUMPF Equipment

TruLaser 1030 and TruBend press brake — industry-leading machines held to ±.005″ tolerances.

CWB W47.1 Certified

Independently assessed welding under Canada's top structural steel standard — every weld traceable and documented.

Taylor Production System

Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen-driven workflow — consistently efficient, continuously improving.

Why Work With Us

Why Taylor Metals.

TRUMPF Equipment

TruLaser 1030 for laser cutting and a TRUMPF TruBend press brake for forming — world-class machines that produce consistent, tight-tolerance parts run after run.

CWB W47.1 Certified Welding

Independently assessed under Canada's highest structural steel welding standard. GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW by certified tradespeople — every weld documented and traceable.

Taylor Production System

Built on Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles. Our internal production system keeps jobs moving efficiently, costs predictable, and quality consistent — order after order.

3D CAD Engineering

Full in-house 3D modeling, design for manufacturability review, and prototype testing before committing to a production run. We engineer it right the first time.

All Processes Under One Roof

Laser cutting, press brake forming, rolling, and welding — no outsourcing, no coordination overhead, no surprise delays when a subcontractor falls behind. One shop owns it.

Prototype to Production

Physical prototypes before full runs. Test it, verify it, change what needs changing — then scale with confidence. No minimum order. Same precision at 1 piece or 10,000.

What We Offer

Our Capabilities.

01

Laser Cutting

TRUMPF TruLaser 1030 with TruBoost nesting software. Tolerances to ±.005″. Mild steel, stainless, aluminum, copper, brass, and non-ferrous alloys. Max sheet size 60″ × 144″, up to 12mm gauge.

02

Metal Forming & Press Brake

  • State-of-the-art TRUMPF TruBend press brake
  • Simple bends to complex multi-dimensional forms
  • Consistent accuracy across all production quantities
  • All material types — mild steel, stainless, aluminum, and more
03

Metal Rolling

Curved and cylindrical profiles across a broad range of materials and gauges — from rolled sheet metal to structural-scale components. Tight radius or large-diameter work, we roll it accurately.

04

CWB W47.1 Certified Welding

  • GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), and SMAW (Stick) welding
  • Certified to CWB W47.1 — Canada's structural steel standard
  • Mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum welding
  • All welds documented and traceable
  • Structural welds, precision detail welds, and complex assemblies
05

3D CAD Design & Engineering

Industry-leading 3D CAD modeling and visualization. Design for Manufacturability (DFM) review to optimize cost and production efficiency. Physical prototypes before full production — reducing risk on complex or first-of-kind parts. DXF, DWG, and STEP files accepted.

06

Taylor Production System

A proprietary Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen-based production system developed in-house. It drives efficiency across estimation, job tracking, scheduling, inventory, and shipping — translating directly to better lead times and tighter pricing on your orders.

07

Prototyping & Production Runs

No minimum order quantity. Single prototypes to full production runs — same equipment, same tolerances, same quality. Prototype first, validate fit and function, then scale with confidence.
